Rain Dog Consulting, LLC is a one-woman public involvement shop headquartered in the woods outside Fairbanks, Alaska.

Caitlin Frye, owner, has worked in government communications and public involvement (as a government employee and consultant) for nearly 10 years. She specializes in strategic communications for complicated projects, writing and editing, graphic and document design, event planning, and improving the accessibility of communications for everyone.

Caitlin began working in the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities’ communications office in 2017 where she helped run the department’s social media account and acted as media spokesperson for the Northern Region. In 2022 she moved to consulting as a public involvement and planning project manager for Michael Baker International. She formed Rain Dog Consulting in 2026.
